General Requirements
"Education on Academic and Research Ethics" Course

- Required for all students enrolled in/after Fall 2017.
"Publication Affiliation" information
All students should follow: When publishing a paper based on the student's doctoral dissertation, he/she should list the Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University. Students shall list their advisor and co-advisor in Academia Sinica and in the Department.
Advisor and Co-Advisor
The student should have an advisor or co-advisor from the Nano program faculty in Academia Sinica, and an advisor or co-advisor from the registered university department. The advisor/co-advisor in the department does not include joint-appointment professors.

Course Taken
Students who wish to apply for credit verification for postgraduate courses offered by other institutes of NTU in similar fields must have received a score of 75/B or higher. The maximum number of course verification is one. The application form shall be attached with a detailed description of the course content and reason of application. After the application is approved by the advisor by signature/seal, it shall be submitted to the Dept. Office and the convener of the academic affairs division will review the case. The credits can only be verified as valid with the convener's approval. (revised and passed in the Dept. Meeting on Sep. 30, 2014)
PhD Student Annual Progress Report (applicable to students enrolled in/after 2023)
After passing the qualification exam, students are required to submit an Annual Progress Report before July 31 every year until they pass the pre-oral exam
