We would like to announce to you the 2015 TIGP-Nano Program Student Poster Session is going to be held on May 18 (Monday). This session is organized jointly with the quarterly conference of Academia Sinica Research Program on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

You are welcome to participate in this stimulating event.

Poster Awards

International Conference Travel Grant

1st prize: up to NTD80,000
2nd prize: up to NTD60,000
3rd prize: up to NTD40,000

This international conference travel grant* is offered by "Academia Sinica Research Program on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology"

 

* notes:

  1. for one time use
  2. for attending an international conference with an oral or poster presentation
  3. used before the end of the Year 2015
  4. if winners plan to graduate in 2015, they must use this travel grant before graduation; unless they still works in Academia Sinica after graduation (as a post-doc, etc)

Submission and Deadline
  1. Participants: all TIGP-Nano students are welcomed, and the students who are 3rd year or higher are required to submit a poster
  2. Submit two files:
    (1) Poster: all posters should be submitted as " .pdf " file
    (2) Briefing (PowerPoint): all briefs should be submitted as " .ppt " (pptx) file, and less than 5 slides

  3. When submission, in the email please indicate the research category that your poster is related and the topic:

Selection Methods
  • First stage:
    During the poster presentation period (16:00-17:00), 10 best posters will be selected by judges.
  • Second stage:
    The presenters of the ten selected posters, each will give a 3-minute oral presentation plus 1-minute Q&A. The top three winners will be selected by all program faculty members and announced at the end of the conference.
